But I call him Daddy

My father died 16 days after my 18th birthday and that changed my whole life.

I do not have many photos of my father but this one was taken on  a day in 1958 that he was especially happy. Things were finally on the up side after many years of struggling to make a living on our farm.

So this Easter menu challenge turned into a memorial page for my Father.

Christa from TSF issued a menu challenge ...select the foods for Easter dinner and she will then tell you what you are doing on the page.

I selected
Scallopped potatoes: USE A DECORATIVE PUNCH
Coleslaw: TEAR AN AEDGE
Prime Rib au jus: DO A MASCULINE THEMED PAGE

Peach Cream Pie: CREATE A FLOWER
Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce: USE FABRIC (NOT RIBBON)

But I call him Daddy

Kraft Core paper from Tim Holtz tears beautifully for my edge tearing, and  the same paper was used for the flower and decorative punched edge. I embossed and inked it first then punched  it out.
I tried many different options for the fabric but settled on the fabric flower from Basic Grey Bloomers stickers. One is from Sweet Threads collection and the other from Out of Print collection.
The corrugated letters are from Pebbles inked with Ranger Distress Ink. The plaid paper is from Robin's Nest. I received free in a crop kit.and it matched my fathers shirt.
