I have been scrapbooking and cardmaking in recent months.

A  few events caught my interest and now am  back in the groove.

 We are 11 months into self isolation due to the Covid 19 Pandemic.

 As older adults, we did not go out much before the pandemic but to be forced into a lockdown is depressing.

Not able to go to a movie theatre or  wander  in a shopping. mall.. No library visits 

The worst part is no hugs with our grandchildren and children. 

We worry for our daughter who works in a hospital, our granddaughter too. Our great niece and our nephew , our cousins son are all in health care and in contact with the virus. 

We need a new refrigerator, a new kitchen tap and to replace the floor in our living room. 

Everything is on hold.

Hopefully this is over soon.

I have been away for a long time.

Missing in action with a computer that did not like to blog

so I finally broke down and bought a new one.


I have been working on albums from Vicki Boutin.
So far I have made two Christmas Albums and 2 regular everyday albums.

Now to  fill them with photos. I have printed some photos but still looking for more,
then fine tune which I want to use.
This might take a while.

I  have not been scrapbooking much other than the albums.

But I have been attending Stampin Up workshop classes with my friend, Louise Cyr

I started with Jamilla Ivits but she moved away when her husband Gerry retired.

We have fun , a few laughs, and make some cards, learn some new techniques and fancy folds.

I will try to post my progress "if I make any, that is"

Stampin up workshop

Finally got back to a stampin' up workshop with Jamilla
A local demonstrator with loads of talent and inspiration.

My collection

I started collecting Hallmark Singing Snowman when my first grandchild was born.
I am missing a couple but here is my layout for the ones I have collected.

Finally finished the layout when found the dates on line.

My grandchildren love them and for the month of December they have a wonderful time playing with them in a circle and sometimes playing them all at once.
