One of my best friends is having a birthday Oct 27th. Her 70th birthday.!

She has been my mentor, my boss and my friend for more years than I can count.

I'm back! Did you miss me?
As most of you are probably aware, I have been ill...the fall flu, cold, cough, headache, chills etc
Three weeks of sickness is getting me down.
Finally I feel well enough to scrapbook again.

Christa, DT at Two Scrapbook Friends are having a Halloween Menu challenge.
Everyone picks their own candy and then Christa tells us how our menu choices relate to scrapbooking items.

And here's my layout..X is the word Excited is on the hexagon pennant banner, only patterned paper used by Echo Park, Papertrey Inc. An photo with big Cheese smile by Austin who is so excited about Octoberfest at school today.

Stamp-a-Faire by Papertrey Inc

Natural Beauties Stamp Set by PTI   Limited Edition Challenge Using only products supplied.

We had a wonderful time at a meeting room in a local hotel. Here's some of our group (photos by Avril Tanner)

Table decorations of Tents and Campers made by Dee, Avril and Sharon and goodie bags of S'mores, snacks and bottled water were very appreciated. We had a pot luck breakfast,  lunch and afternoon snack and the went out for a lovely dinner. Then back to the workshop for more fun.

The quality of my cards are nothing compared to some beauties at the crop, very professional . Unfortunately I did not get a photo of the  display table with the finished cards. I was very impressed!
