Christmas Concert

Two Page Sketch 24 Jan 9 2012 from Sketch Support was my inspiration for my double page layout.
I left off the top striped strip due to the different sizes of my photos. My title follows an imaginery line and I moved the main journal box over to left side.
 It includes Little Yellow Bicycle  papers, American Crafts Thickers and some miscellaneous ornament stickers. Ek Success punch for journalling cards.

Emma in Grade One in her first School Christmas Concert singing "Light a Candle" with her class.

 Austin is watching closely for when he goes to school, next year.

August Product Challenge --Part 2

Here's the second one,as promised in an earlier post,(See August 11 post for challenge details)  the first was a birthday card and here's my second one..A layout from Sketch Support One Page Sketch # 12 featuring my grandson and his first craft project.
He was so proud of his first craft project that Mommy had to take pictures.

Summer Fun

I love the photos in these 2 layouts. My grandchildren are having such a great time enjoying the outdoors in the summer time.

So here's my summer layouts..minus the journalling >>>.(top)>At the playground in the Park

and (bottom)  water and sliding fun in the backyard.

We all Scream for Ice Cream

My Ice Cream layout with something new for me....stitching.... on the cloud on the left page and on the green ice cream cone on the right side. I think I told someone that I would never stitch on a scrapbook page...Well, I will never say never again...I had so much fun doing it.
I also popped up some diecuts and hand cut lots of little ones. I put Glossy Accents on the camera lens and the ice cream truck lights and windows.
Then add the  2 x 4 pictures of the ice cream dripping off my grandson 's face and the sneaky cute look on my granddaughter face or the guilty pleasure on my daughter's face  and I have my own little scrappy masterpiece.

Product Challenge for July

The Sketch is from the new Sketches for Scrapbooking for one page Sketches. The original called for 1- 4 x6 and 2- 2 x 2 but as my photos were 5 x 7 and 3 x 2 it still worked although the page is a little busy. Even so, I think the colour combo brings it together. The sketch is changed slightly in that I changed the circles going down from left to right instead of right to left, and moved the large picture to the right.

Outdoor Diva

I have "Sketches for Scrapbooking" Sketch books Volume 1, 4 and 7. This is my very first sketch support double page layout from the books.

My granddaughter is a born model, she loves to pose for the camera.

I thought I would show you some of my pages from the past that I enjoyed working on. Although I love this layout, I hope I have improved my style a little since this one.
